NEFC Has Two NJCAA First-Team All-America Selections
Louisburg running back Rasheed Williams and Lackawanna defensive lineman Bernardo Nunez were both selected to the 2011 NJCAA All-America team as first-team choices.
Named to the second team were Lackawanna offensive lineman Mark Glowinski, Hudson Valley linebacker Nick Gilbo, and Louisburg defensive back Kewitt Koonce.
Dean wide receiver Robbie Jackson was an honorable mention choice.

RANKINGS: As a result of its bowl win, Dean moved to eighth in the final NJCAA poll of the season. Nassau remained 13th while Lackawanna is now in the receiving votes category.

ALL-CONFERENCE: The NEFC recently announced its 2011 all-conference team. Dean head coach Todd Vasey was named the NFCs Coach of the Year while Lackawanna defensive lineman Bernardo Nunez was named the conferences Player of the Year. Nunez was also the defensive player of the year while Louisburg running back Rasheed Williams was the offensive player of the year.
